Who is responsible for your data

• The data controller for this website is Tomas Kaiser, trading as Kaiser Web Studio.

What data I collect

• The only personal data this site collects is what you submit yourself through the contact form: your name, email address, and the message you write.
• I don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies anywhere on this site, and I don't collect any data automatically beyond what's described below under "Cookies".

Why I collect it and the legal basis

• I use your contact form submission solely to respond to your inquiry and, if we move forward, to discuss and deliver a web development project.
• The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps necessary prior to entering into a contract with you) or, where no contract follows, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (my legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries).

How your message is handled

• When you submit the contact form, your name, email, and message are sent by email using Resend, a transactional email service, and delivered directly to my own inbox. I reply to you directly from there.
• This website does not store your submission in any database — once the email is sent, the site itself keeps no copy. The message lives on in my email inbox for as long as I need it to handle our conversation, or until I delete it.

Who else sees your data

• Resend (resend.com) processes your message briefly in order to deliver it to me by email, acting as a data processor. Resend's infrastructure may process data outside the European Economic Area; where that happens, Resend relies on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Your message is also stored in my personal email provider's mailbox (Gmail, operated by Google) once delivered, since that's where I read and reply to it.
• I don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else, and I don't use it for advertising.

Cookies

• This site sets one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, purely to remember whether you're viewing the site in English or Czech. It doesn't track you, identify you, or get shared with anyone — it's strictly functional.
• This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies of any kind.

How long I keep your data

I keep contact form emails for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, if we work together, for the duration of our business relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You can ask me to delete your message at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Your rights

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Ask me to correct inaccurate data
• Ask me to delete your data
• Object to or restrict how I use your data
• Ask for a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz), or your own country's supervisory authority

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy if the site's data practices change — for example, if I add analytics in the future. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
